Chronic Headaches

Chronic headaches are those that occur with some frequency. Often those that suffer from chronic headaches, find that the pain interferes with their daily lives. It is often difficult to ascertain the cause of chronic headaches and they are often handled with pain management techniques, which can allow the sufferer to enjoy some sense of normalcy, due to a decrease in the severity of chronic headaches.

Headache in the back of head

Headaches in the back of the head, can be a sign of brain injury. If an individual believes that they may have sustained a head injury, they should seek immediate medical attention and avoid going to sleep. A headache in the back of the head can also be indicative  of stress, as many stress headaches tend to be centralized to one location. For some individuals, headaches in the back of the head can also be a result of sinus issues, such as congestion, as the pain is not always located directly where the issue is.

Headaches behind  eyes

A headache behind the eyes is most commonly associated with the sinuses. In fact, the sinuses can cause many types of headaches. Congestion for example, is likely to cause a headache behind the eyes, simply due to the pressure. Whereas, a runny nose may cause another type of headache. A headache behind the eyes, like any headache, can be indicative of other health issues, including the need for prescription eye glasses. Doctors may in fact refer the sufferer to an eye doctor to rule out vision problems.

Headaches during pregnancy

Headaches are fairly common during pregnancy, especially in early pregnancy. There can be a myriad of causes for headaches during pregnancy, because the body is undergoing many changes. one of the most common caused of headaches during pregnancy, is the rapid and frequent changes in hormones. In addition, headaches can be caused by a change in consumption, such as giving up caffeine for the health of the baby, or changes in medication.

Headaches and Dizziness

Some headaches are accompanied by dizziness and this can be rather scary for the individual that experiences these symptoms. Headaches and dizziness are fairly common with illnesses that include a fever, such as the flu. However, dizziness could also be a result of the pain caused by some headaches. Headaches and dizziness can be indicative of medical issues, such as high blood pressure or a brain tumor and individuals should always see their doctor when the experience these types of symptoms

Headaches and Nosebleed

Some headaches are known to cause nosebleeds. In fact, some individuals have nosebleed with each headache. Oftentimes, headaches and nosebleeds are a sign of a serious issue. In some cases, the nosebleed may be a result of a sinus infection. in otter cases, the nosebleed and headache may indicate high blood pressure. In that case, the individuals would likely experience the headache and nosebleed upon standing. It is always a good idea to seek medical attention when an individual suddenly begins to experience a headache with nosebleed.

Neck pain and headaches

Neck pain and headaches can result from injuries which have not received proper treatment. For example, many people sustain neck injuries as a result of car accidents and fail to get proper medical attention. In addition, neck pain and headaches can result from stress, which tends to be felt in certain areas of the body, including the neck and shoulders.  In order to get proper treatment for neck pain and headaches, it is likely necessary to treat the neck pain first, in order to lessen the frequency of the headaches.

Headache and Nausea

Headaches which are accompanied by nausea, can be very debilitating. In general, it is persistent headaches or throbbing headaches, which result in the sufferer feeling nauseous. These types of headaches often prevent the individuals from being able to go about their daily activities and doctors often search for the cause of the headache.  By finding the cause of the headache, doctors can effectively find ways to lessen the frequency and severity of these types of headaches.
