Citrus juicers are utilized to make fresh  juice from citrus fruit. There are a variety of types of citrus juicers and each works fairly well, depending on the type of citrus fruit being used to make juice.

When citrus juicers were first introduced for home use, they were made of metal. Those citrus juicers were hand held and the juice was manually squeezed from the fruit. With the advent of electric juicers, many more fruits could easily be made into juice. However, the manual juicer is still rather popular and either type works well for making juice from citrus fruits.

Orange Juicer

Orange juicers are more easily utilized when they are electric citrus juicers. The size of an orange can make it difficult to use a manual citrus juicer and often results in a mess. However, oranges generally have to be peeled before being placed in an electric juicer, whereas they do not have to peeled for an electric juicer.
