Toxins are naturally occurring chemicals, either of a protein or a molecular base that can be found within the body. Though they are naturally occurring, they can be hazardous to the body, because of their damaging effects on naturally functioning processes.
Toxins Background
There are many different types of toxins that can be found throughout the human body; some can even be found outside of the human body. The outside toxins also have damaging effect on the functionality of the human body. Toxins can be created through bacteria or can be infused through animal bites. Understanding different toxins is important for overall health matters. Toxins can cause illness within the body, by attacking the healthy proteins, as well as, they can cause a slowing down of natural processes, which leaves the body susceptible to more infection and overall illness.
Cholera Toxin
The Cholera toxin is created and secreted through specific types of bacteria. When it is introduced into the bloodstream, the Cholera toxin often targets the intestines and causes issues surrounding water within the body. Most commonly diarrhea and dehydration are to effects that result from these toxins. Understanding the Cholera toxin requires an understanding of its make-up and the overall affectations it has on the body.
Shiga Toxin
The Shiga Toxin is a toxin secreted by two types of bacteria, the E. Coli bacteria or Shigarella Dysenteriae. These two types of bacteria secrete toxins that cause the intestinal inflammation often referred to as Dysentery. Each Shiga toxin complex is made of a several parts and can be fatal if left untreated.
