Human Development Background
Human development is defined as the process in which a human being matures from being a one-celled organism to that of human mature adult. The process begins with the fertilization of the female egg by the male's sperm cell, which begins the pregnancy term. After childbirth, a human will go through various stages of development that will eventually lead to a mature adult and eventually death.

Human development will often be seen in terms of the noticeable physical changes that a human being will go through in a lifetime. However, human grown and development happens at various levels, including changes that occur in the human mind and psyche as well in behavioral and social contexts.
Stages of Human Development
The stages of human development are considered as the necessary stages one will go through in life that will lead one through the necessary physical and psychosocial changes that occur at particular times in a lifespan. The stages will begin at the prenatal stage, which begins with the fertilization process, and will eventually end in death.
